What we do

Research

Action-research encompasses participatory and empowering ways of gathering information, and considers women and girls to be experts in their own sense of safety. It focuses not only on the results, but also on the process of doing research. WICI’s Research

Programming

WICI develops and implements innovative programming for making cities safer and more inclusive of all women and girls. WICI’s programmes are globally united but locally led, working with women’s organisations to respond to local priorities. WICI’s Programming Right to Campus

Technical Assistance

WICI has provided technical assistance to international agencies in the development of curriculum, tools, research and programs. WICI focuses on providing accessible “how-to” guidance on the process for creating safe cities and communities for women and girls. WICI’s Technical Assistance
