The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recently announced an extension to the deadline for the ongoing online assessment for superintendent cadre applicants.
The extension will provide additional time for candidates in Batch 1 to complete the assessment process.
The deadline has been extended from 11:59 pm on Monday, May 8, to 6 am on Tuesday, May 9.
Femi Babafemi, the spokesman for the agency, disclosed this information in a statement released on Monday night.
He emphasized that the same opportunity for extension would be granted to applicants in Batches 2 and 3, who are scheduled to undergo their online assessments between Tuesday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 10.
This extension signifies that candidates scheduled to take their tests at 10 am on Tuesday will have their deadline moved from 11:59 pm on the same day to 6 am on Wednesday. Similarly, those scheduled for Wednesday will see their deadline extended until 6 am on Thursday, May 11.
The purpose of this extension is to ensure that all candidates have adequate time to complete the assessment process, as the agency understands the importance of a fair and comprehensive evaluation of all applicants.
By extending the deadline, the NDLEA aims to provide a more positive and stress-free experience for candidates during this crucial phase of the recruitment process.
In addition to the announcement of the deadline extension, Babafemi also provided important guidance for candidates regarding the login process for the online assessment platform.

He advised candidates to enter their application ID on the assessment dashboard using the format NDLEA-SUPT-2023-12345678910, rather than NDLEA/SUPT/2023/12345678910.
Furthermore, Babafemi highlighted that candidates should not attempt to use their email addresses as application IDs, as this would not be accepted by the assessment platform.
This clarification is essential in ensuring a seamless login experience for all candidates and preventing any unnecessary confusion or delays.
In conclusion, the NDLEA’s decision to extend the online assessment deadline for superintendent cadre applicants reflects the agency’s commitment to a fair and transparent recruitment process.
By providing ample time for candidates to complete their assessments and offering clear guidance on the login process, the NDLEA is working to enhance the overall user experience and promote a more efficient and effective recruitment procedure.
