The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has recently announced the Ndlea result of Superintendent Cadre Candidates and shortlisted Narcotic Agent/Narcotic Assistant Cadre applicants for screening/interview sessions. These sessions will take place at designated locations across Nigeria from Monday, June 5th, to Friday, June 16th, 2023.
In this article, we will provide you with all the necessary information regarding the recruitment process, screening/interview centers, and important instructions for the candidates who have been shortlisted by NDLEA. If you are one of the candidates included in the NDLEA Shortlist, it is crucial that you pay close attention to the details provided here.
Screening/Interview Centers
The NDLEA has designated five centers across Nigeria for the screening/interview process. Candidates are required to report to the following locations:
- Abuja – NDLEA Headquarters, No 6 Port Harcourt Crescent, off Gimbiya Street, Garki Area 11 Abuja, FCT.
- Kano – Kano State Command of NDLEA, Airport Road, Kano.
- Lagos – NDLEA Liaison Office, 4 Shaw Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
- Jos – NDLEA Academy, Katton Rikkos, Jos, Plateau State.
- Port Harcourt – Rivers State Command of NDLEA, Artillery Junction, Aba Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers.
Candidates should carefully check their names against the respective batches they belong to and take note of the date they are required to attend the screening/interview. Failure to adhere to these instructions may result in disqualification.
Required Documents and Items
Candidates must bring the following documents and items to the screening/interview:
- Original and photocopy of credentials in a file, including all relevant certificates (academic/statement of results, birth/declaration of age certificates, NYSC discharge/exemption certificates, certificate of state of origin, and professional certificates if applicable).
- Two recent color passport photographs without cap/hat.
- A pair each of white (unmarked) round neck vests, navy blue shorts (without stripes), canvas shoes, and white socks.
- Duly completed copies of the guarantors’ forms.
- Printed National Identification Card and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Current certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
- Trade Test Certificate for Narcotic Assistants (if applicable).
- Writing materials.
Screening/Interview Groups and Batches
The candidates will be divided into different groups and batches for the screening/interview process. Let’s take a look at the details:
Group 1 – NDLEA National Headquarters Abuja Screening/Interview Centre
Candidates under the Superintendent Cadre will be batched as follows:
- Batch A of Group 1 – Serial 1 to 150 (Monday, June 5th, 2023).
- Batch B of Group 1 – Serial 151 to 300 (Tuesday, June 6th, 2023).
- Batch C of Group 1 – Serial 301 to 450 (Wednesday, June 7th, 2023).
- Batch D of Group 1 – Serial 451 to 525 (Thursday, June 8th, 2023).
Group 2 – NDLEA Kano State Command Screening/Interview Centre
Candidates under the Superintendent Cadre will be required to report as per the following order:
- Batch A of Group 2 – Serial 526 to 775 (Monday, June 5th, 2023).
- Batch B of Group 2 – Serial 776 to 1,025 (Tuesday, June 6th, 2023).
- Batch C of Group 2 – Serial 1,026 to 1,275 (Wednesday, June 7th, 2023).
- Batch D of Group 2 – Serial 1,276 to 1,525 (Thursday, June 8th, 2023).
- Batch E of Group 2 – Serial 1,526 to 1,753 (Friday, June 9th, 2023).
Candidates under the Narcotic Agent/Assistant Cadre will report on the following dates:
- Batch A of Group 2 – Serial 1 to 250 (Saturday, June 10th, 2023).
- Batch B of Group 2 – Serial 251 to 500 (Monday, June 12th, 2023).
- Batch C of Group 2 – Serial 501 to 750 (Tuesday, June 13th, 2023).

Candidates under the Superintendent Cadre will report on the following dates:

- Batch B of Group 3 – Serial 1,886 to 2,032 (Tuesday, June 6th, 2023).

Important Instructions
- Candidates who fail to report on the specified dates for their interview will be disqualified.
- All shortlisted candidates will undergo a drug integrity test.
- A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Loitering around the interview centers on dates they are not scheduled or violating instructions during the screening will result in disqualification.
