A Robust Monitoring and Evaluation System
To guarantee successful implementation and maximize the impact of the NSIP, the Ministry has devised a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system.
This system operates on three levels: Local Government, State, and Federal.
Local Government Level
At the local government level, the Ministry has enlisted the services of 7,500 independent monitors.
These monitors will conduct programme monitoring across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Independent Monitors will collect and submit routine data from 774 local government areas.
