15K per Hour”: UK Government Showcases 38 High-Paying Jobs for Nigerians
The UK government recently published a list of job roles welcoming applications from qualified Nigerians. These positions, spanning various sectors, can pave the way for skilled worker visas for potential immigrants. However, there’s a catch – successful applicants must earn at least 80% of the standard pay rate for their job to qualify for the visa.
UK’s Official Shortage Occupations List
The UK’s freshly updated jobs list, sourced directly from the government’s official website, includes 38 distinct occupations. Their statement reads:
“Review the jobs on our shortage occupations list for each UK region. If your profession appears here, you can earn 80% of the usual salary for that job to be eligible for a Skilled Worker visa. Note that the yearly salaries provided are based on a 37.5-hour week. Adjustments will be made for different work schedules based on the hours stated by your hiring firm.”
Surprisingly, some positions offer wages as attractive as N15,000 per hour.
